How to make a Wedding Ceremony Your Own

Unique wedding ceremony

Wedding rituals are quite simple. Beginning with music, the ceremony progresses via procession, greeting, reading, vows, kiss, pronouncement, and recessional. You are now married.

Why should you simply follow the standard methodology? Let’s create a wedding ceremony that is absolutely unique to you. Let’s throw tradition out the window and start over. Allow me to assist you in creating a ceremony that reflects your relationship.

Ideas to think about to create your wedding ceremony.

  • Choose music that means something to you.

    • You don’t need the run of the mill “Here comes the bride” use the first tune you heard after your proposal.
  • Incorporate the past, present and the future.

    •  This can be in your ceremony script or your vows.
  • Consider incorporating both Father and Mother of the Bride and Groom.

    • Both parents can walk down the aisle.
  • Make the ring exchange the focus of the ceremony

    • Using a ring warming ceremony is unique way of having the focus on the rings.
  • Think outside the box when it comes to flower girls and page boys

    • Include your Pet in the ceremony or Pre-Decorate the Aisle with Petals

  • Don’t include filler.

    • You may find you are looking for more to be included to make in memorable, I would suggest less is better.
  • Use reading from other languages

    • An interesting concept especially when some can mis-pronounce a different language
  • Find a celebrant you connect with.

    • I am always available; all you need is to ask.
